Modern Slavery Statement

Albatross Cars Derby Ltd ( “we”, “our”, “us”) are committed to uphold due care and attention to ensure that we conduct our business in accordance with our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (MSA 2015).

We acknowledge that, beyond our legal obligations, we have an ethical responsibility to support the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are committed to ensuring that there are no risks of modern slavery within our business or supply chains. While we understand our duty to outline the measures we’ve taken to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains, we also recognize that we do not have direct control over the actions of individuals or organisations within them.

Our culture is a key element of what makes our environment unique. Strengthening and preserving this culture is integral to our everyday operations and is reflected in much of our corporate policy. We are dedicated to fostering an enjoyable and safe environment where our employees can thrive. Recognising that our staff are our most valuable asset, employee welfare is a core priority that aligns with our company’s culture and values. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination, abuse, or harassment of any kind, and we expect the same standard from all our stakeholders, including customers, manufacturers, shareholders, suppliers, and employees. All staff members are required to adhere to our codes of conduct, company standards, and policies.

We implement a comprehensive recruitment and selection process for all hiring decisions, which includes verifying documented proof of an individual’s right to work in the country where they will be employed. If concerns arise, we maintain an open-door communication policy and offer a protected disclosure facility for staff who require confidentiality.

As part of our risk management process, we continually assess potential threats and evaluate both existing and future arrangements. We have established a review process to monitor, manage, and mitigate risks. Past risks identified in this area have led to the introduction of our Supplier and Partner Operating Principles, enhancements to our supplier due diligence procedures, and the development of our supplier categorisation program.

We continue to ensure our employees are informed about the Modern Slavery Act, the definitions of slavery and human trafficking, and the steps to take if they suspect such cases.

This statement is reviewed and updated annually and is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps taken by Albatross Cars Derby Ltd during the financial year ending 2024/25 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
